Why we're gathering

A generation is anxious, lonely, and starving for something real. We've tried programs, strategies, and better versions of ourselves, and we're gathering as a generation who know we can't fix this on our own. What we need is not a better event. We need Jesus, and everything He desires for us, the Church, and our city. Every awakening in the Church's story began with ordinary people who got honest with God and would not stop asking.

What we mean by awakening

Awakening is simply the Christianity of the New Testament. It's the ordinary work of God, accelerated and intensified. Where it comes, you see deep wholeness in people, renewal of the Church, evangelization of a generation, and transformation of society.

What this is

These are days to grow in a theology of awakening and in the practice of awakening leadership, together with people who share the same hunger. Awakening moves at the pace of friendship, so as much as anything, these are days to make friends who share your hunger for it.

Experience a prayer and worship night Friday evening and a full day of teaching, conversation, and practice on Saturday—all built around prayer and presence, church and mission, relational life, and growing in awakening leadership.

Jesus said that those who hunger and thirst for righteousness will be filled, and we take Him at His word. We come with a real desire for more of Him. We intend to seek Him desperately rather than politely or casually, trusting that the Lord is near to all who call on Him with all our hearts. Prayer tends to take courage, and it comes more easily in a room where others are hungry too.

A testimony from Kentucky

In 2023, the Asbury Outpouring drew the attention of many, and Gen Z was at the heart of it. Some of the team who helped steward those days will be with us. They'll share, humbly, what they saw, and they'll pray with us. It isn't a formula. It's a testimony from Kentucky, and we're hoping and asking for what Jesus will do in San Francisco.

Who it's for

Young adults, and those who love them and serve them in the Church. If you're full of faith, come. If you're running on empty, come. Bring a friend.
