What is Awakening Project?

More than a conference, Awakening Project is a network of friendships unified in a desire to see a move of God. Nothing gets us more excited than seeing emerging leaders equipped and empowered to host the presence of God in their local communities. Awakening Project gatherings are places where individuals can connect with new friends (both peers and mentors), receive encouragement, wisdom, and prayer, dream with God about a project aligning with their unique calling and context, and encounter God in new ways.

Who is Awakening Project for?

Awakening Project is for young adults desiring to experience more of God. Throughout history, awakening movements have started among the young – on college campuses, in churches, and among friends who join together in desperate prayer for God to move. Awakening Project supports young adults in formation of faith, vocation, and identity, laying a foundation for a life stewarded toward enjoying and sharing the love of God.

At Awakening Project we embrace intergenerational relationships, recognizing the value of including emerging, middle, and elder voices in collaborative leadership. If you’re over age 30 and interested in attending Awakening Project, we ask that you bring at least one young adult with you as a way to embody this value and prioritize Gen Z presence in the room.

What should I expect?

Expect dynamic teaching, passionate worship, and practical labs where ministry skills can be sharpened. Expect to encounter God in community. Awakening Project also includes day-trip pilgrimages to historic sites of awakening to learn from past moves of God that can help us to position ourselves to receive fresh moves of God.
