Renewing the Church 

The Pastors Track at Awakening Project is a dedicated space for lead pastors, associate pastors, executive pastors, and church planters who are engaging emerging adults and navigating leadership in a season of spiritual outpouring and longing for renewal that goes deeper than strategy.

We will explore questions that many leaders are carrying quietly:

• How do we lead a local church toward awakening and make room for outpouring?

• What does it look like to cultivate presence-centered worship?

• How do we awaken and empower the next generation of leaders?

The Pastors Track reflects a vision of leadership that is relational rather than performative, collaborative rather than centralized, and deeply rooted in friendship across generations. It is designed to nurture leaders and teams so that renewal can take root and grow organically in local contexts.

While fully participating in the wider Awakening Project gathering, pastors in this track will also share intentional time together for reflection, encouragement, and honest conversation about sustaining ministry marked by presence, humility, and faithful endurance.

Whether you are carrying vision, shepherding people, overseeing staff and systems, or walking alongside emerging leaders, the Pastors Track is an invitation to tend your own soul and reimagine leadership for a new era of the Church.

Who Should Sign Up

Lead, associate, and executive pastors serving in local churches and church planters who are interested in deepening a theology of awakening and the practice of awakening leadership. This experience is uniquely designed for pastors in decision-making roles within multi-generational congregations who want to attend Awakening Project alongside their young adults and discern how to lead their congregations in a season of renewal across the Church.

This track is not intended for campus ministry leaders or for non-pastoral church roles. Campus ministry directors and leaders of church-based young adult ministries will be offered distinct formation opportunities during the conference, designed specifically for their contexts and callings.
